2018 Mini Cooper S Amplified Edition : Looks so rad, so good, so quick

Today, Mini Malaysia introduces two limited edition Mini Coopers in their current line-up, namely the Urbanite Edition and the Amplified Edition. The Urbanite is only available for the base 5 door Cooper hatchback, while the Amplified line is for the 3 door Cooper S.

In the meantime, I was suppossed to check out the Urbanite Cooper aside from the Amplified Edition. However, it wasn't available in the showroom around my area at the moment. So, I am gonna tell you guys about the Cooper S Amplified Edition first before moving on to the 5 door Urbanite sibling by tomorrow night.

 Here's the Chili Red Mini Cooper S Amplified Edition. Looks more cooler than the normal Cooper S.

There are few things to look at the Amplified Edition of the 3 door Cooper S, namely the visual aesthetics and the additional power bump. YES, I admit. A power bump, well, slightly, for a limited edition car.

When it comes to visual, you will see racing stripes all the way from the front hood to the back hatch. The stripes are black if you pick the Chili Red or Pepper White paint, or red if you choose Midnight Black. 

Apart from that, Amplified Edition Cooper S also gets a new 17" JCW Track Spoke alloy wheels in black, and both front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and spoiler which are exclusively made by John Cooper Works.

Aside from the outside, there is not much of changes on the inside. What you see is the normal seats are replaced by the most supportive JCW bucket seats and the JCW leather steering wheel. Plus, there's a backup camera for a better guidance, which the normal one doesn't have one.
