We already know that the iconic three door hatch gets a striking upgrade at a limited number, but what about the 5 door sibling? Well there you have it peeps! Aside from the Amplified Cooper S that we know previously, Mini Malaysia also bring the Cooper Urbanite Edition at the same day. Compared to the sporty-looking Amplified 3 door hatch, the Urbanite Edition is mainly for people who care about the fancy look and stylish lifestyle.
Based on the 5 door Cooper with a 1.5 turbocharged three cylinder engine, the Cooper only gets a visual upgrade from head to toe. Starting with the racing stripes on the hood and the side profile, a black 16" Victory wheels in all four corners, piano black trim and grille as well as the main signature for all Minis, the iconic rally-inspired looking LED fog lamps at the front. These fog lights are something that most people recommend for their Minis, and costs around RM 3000 or more. Speaking of the color, the Urbanite Edition also only has 3 only color option, Blazing Red, Pepper White, and Midnight Black as you see here.
Although it's a basic Cooper with aesthetic upgrade, it still looks pretty retro with this color scheme and its accessories.
Especially at the front.

As for the interior, there's not much of additional changes except for the JCW color trim all around just like the Amplified Edition. But, it does get an additional back up camera and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
