Nissan Juke Meet 2017: A different kind of meet that we want!

Two weeks ago, Nissan Juke Club Malaysia created their first meetup for this year. The meetup was led by Jason Koh and Rooy Low, who were the leader and the member of the club respectively. Not to mention was they also invited two professional photographers and a videographer, namely Alan Chong, Kenny Looi and Louis respectively, and I myself to cover the event. Also, the main catalyst to bring out the event was two Nissan Car Club Union (NCCU), like Aaron Chin and Danny Chen, who played as the main role to find the right spot to have a meet.

The gathering managed to invite 8 Juke owners The most exciting part was there were 3 Juke Nismos, and one Juke Nismo RS.

All of the Juke owners were registering themselves at The Morning After, which was a "hipster-café" which I always called it, at 7:30 A.M. While waiting for the other Juke owners to come to the gathering, all the owners, photographers, videographers and myself, were having a breakfast at the same place. At the same time, we all managed to greet each other and talk, which was the most important thing that we always do.

One of the most beautiful moment at that time was looking at the Juke Nismo RS for the first time and it caught my attention. Consider itself a rare gem in Malaysia, as it was claimed to be only two units that existed here.

This one on the other hand was a tuned Juke Nismo

30 minutes later, all the owners were having a brief session for a short convoy. Before the convoy started, all of them had group shots by all the medias to cherish the great moments of it.

Jump!

Finally, the great drive happened outside. All the Jukes were lead by Aaron who drove the X-Trail to guide the convoy, and Danny is accompanied by Kenny and Louis. Besides that, Alan and I were in another vehicle for photo taking.

In the middle of the journey, all of them stopped their cars twice for photoshoots. At the same time, Rooy and Danny had a brilliant idea about the photoshoot places.

So at the end of the convoy, all the Jukes were parked at Ativo Damansara parking lot for more beautiful shots, thanks to both of them.

Lastly, the owners managed their last group photos before having their lunch at the same café.

My thoughts on the event:

You don't really see any Jukes in any car meets or other automotive scenes, except for this, which considered a good wake-up call to all Juke owners. The event was managed successfully, especially with the help of the members of the NCCU club. The Nissan Juke was one of the cutest Nissan cars ever made with its frog-like shape, but don't let the design fooled you as it's a 1.6 litre turbo that exerts nearly 200 hp depending on the model year. In my own words, I would like to see more of these events that has vehicles which are rare in sight. And again, I would like to thank to all the people around the event, including Jason and Aaron, for inviting me to cover the events in my blog. At the same time, I would like to thank to all the rest of the Juke owners, photographers and a videographer for knowing each other and made the event to look greater than what we've expected, and also The Morning After for the delicious and scrumptious food services in the morning and the afternoon session.
